Should you think Britain is all listed buildings and intricate architecture you are in for a shock. Blighty has some delightful countryside and incredible beaches. This post will let you know where to find the finest British beaches. The places I visited as a child and keep on to see to-day. Their are a few things we want to do at the beachfront in Britain and that is eat fish and chips with loads of salt and vinegar and enjoy an ice-cream and possibly bring a stick of rock o-r perhaps a sugar dummy house too.

Our seasides are a great location for an excellent time and with great funfairs, donkeys and beautiful coastlines there are plenty of seaside towns to see in the UK.

Formby Beach
The beach at Formby is one of the prettiest in the UK. Located in the North of England in Freshfields, Liverpool, Formby beach is just an extended strech of gold sand with sand dunes plus a national trust woods as well. The forest has a number of the only red squirells in the United Kingdom. In the event that you simply visualize a day on the shore and a round lush woodland you will love Formby. There's an ice-cream truck which sells teas and icecream as well as public toilets but there isn't much else here. Therefore make sure you bring a picnic in case you are intending to spend the day here. It's really worth the visit and on a summer's day it is the perfect place to catch some rays and construct a sandcastle or even select a dip in the ocean.

You can walk to Southport down Formby beach and should you see the half hour stroll it really is worth every penny. Southport has fairground rides and the right gift shops where you are able to buy British rock and gifts.

Devon
In the event that you like friendly locals, quaint white houses, scenic scenery and surfing then you will adore Devon. Operating out of the south of England Devon is just a quaint seaside town with great taunton accommodation and fresh air. The beach at Slapton Sands is shingle therefore it is perhaps not great for building sandcastles but if you want to move away from it all and maybe get some waves it's a fantastic place to complete it. There's ocean on one side of the beach and a fresh-water lake on the other and it's simply lovely.

St Ives
It appears as old as the hills that rise steeply from it, but this ageing-hipsters' town in western Cornwall still has what it takes; two excellent free galleries, picturesque cobbled roads, pubs that serve scrumpy strong enough to get you fall over after a pint and needless to say certainly one of the loveliest bays in UK it also has some excellent accommodation quantocks.

Porthcurno, Cornwall
Cornwall is well known for wonderful locals, friendly locals and great surfing and this is undoubtedly among the best. This is a golden bay using sparkling blue water and a granite cliff backdrop. It's wonderful for a luxury hotel the family as it's easy to make it to and wonderfully clean. Go at low tide and you will have a stroll to some of the other surrounding beaches.
